The Journey Through
Easter Sunday | April 20
Theme: What He Walked Through… and What We Walk Through Now
đź“– Scripture:
“He is not here; He has risen, just as He said. Come and see the place where He lay.”
—Matthew 28:6 (NIV)
✨ Reflection and Insight
The stone wasn’t just moved—it was defied.
The grave wasn’t just empty—it was echoing with glory.
And what looked like the end on Friday became the beginning on Sunday.
He had risen.
Just as He said.
This wasn’t resurrection in theory.
It was resurrection in body.
The scars were still there—but the sting was gone.
He walked out of what held Him.
And in doing so, He made every tomb temporary.
đź’Ą The Everyday Parallel
Some resurrections don’t come with trumpets.
They come quietly—after the tears, after the silence, after the stone has settled.
Have you ever looked around your life and thought, This is it. Nothing else can grow here.
Only to find that, slowly, something starts to shift?
That’s resurrection.
And it doesn’t always look like fireworks.
Sometimes it looks like breathing again, after a long night of weeping.
đź’ Personal Reflection
I’ve had to rise in silence.
With no crowd.
No witness.
Just God and grace and the strength to try again.
Sometimes, like Jesus, we emerge with scars—but they don’t stop us.
They mark us.
They remind us of the grave we’ve overcome.
And the beauty is —
what once burdened you has no hold anymore.
🙏🏾 Invitation for Reflection
What tomb did you think would be your final chapter?
What stone did you think would never move?
This Resurrection Sunday, I invite you to ask:
What is rising in me?
Where is new life already unfolding—subtle, sacred, and steady?
You don’t have to run yet.
You don’t have to dance yet.
Just rise.
Step forward.
And know—He is right here with you.
🎶 Musical Moment
“Because He Lives“ by Bill & Gloria Gaither
Because He lives, I can face tomorrow.
This is the song that feels like sunrise.
It reminds me that resurrection isn’t just something to believe—it’s something to live.
Something to feel stirring, even after the deepest night.
Today, sing it softly or shout it boldly—
Either way, He is risen.
