Hands in a cozy knitted sweater holding a glowing candle surrounded by autumn leaves, symbolizing warmth, hope, and the light we carry forward.
In the heart of autumn’s embrace, even a small light can guide us forward. Let your light shine for yourself and others.

Week of December 9th: Holding the Light in Darkness

Day 5 (Friday, December 13): Carrying the Light Forward

Words of Light:

“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.” – Matthew 5:14

Reflection:

When we’ve found even the smallest spark of light, it becomes something we can carry forward for ourselves and others. The light we hold, whether it’s hope, love, or resilience, can illuminate the path for someone else.

Carrying the light doesn’t mean you have to have it all together. It simply means believing that your presence makes a difference even in your imperfections. Every act of kindness, every moment of vulnerability, every time you choose to keep going—you’re sharing light.

Today, as you close the week, reflect on how you’ve found light in darkness and consider how you can share that light with someone else. A kind word, a listening ear, or simply being present can bring hope to someone who needs it.

Peace, Rita

Journal Prompt:

   •       How can you carry the light forward in your own life and share it with others?

Affirmation:

“I carry light within me and choose to share it with the world.”
