Leaning On Each Other

A serene, snowy landscape featuring an ascending pathway winding toward a brilliant star shining in a vast night sky filled with stars. Snow-covered hills and evergreen trees surround the path, evoking a sense of peace, purpose, and spiritual journey.
A winding path leads toward the brightest star, reminding us that even in life’s winters, there is light guiding the way. Trust the journey.

Week of December 16th: Finding Light in Each Other

Day 2 (Tuesday, December 17): Leaning on Each Other

Words of Light:

“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way, you will fulfill the law of Christ.” – Galatians 6:2

Reflection:

One of the miracles of this season is the reminder that we don’t have to carry life’s burdens alone. Just as the Wise Men traveled together to follow the star, we can lean on one another and offer support through life’s winters. Sometimes, the light we need comes through a friend’s kindness, a mentor’s guidance, or the quiet presence of someone who listens.

Leaning on others requires humility and trust. It’s not always easy to admit we need help, but asking for support can be an act of faith. And just as we lean on others, we can also offer ourselves as a source of strength and light for those around us.

Today, reflect on how you can embrace the gift of community. Whether you’re giving or receiving support, trust that the light we share grows stronger in the sharing.

Peace, Rita

Journal Prompt:

  • Who can you lean on for support in your life, and how can you offer your light to someone in need?

Affirmation:

“The light of others strengthens me as I share my light to support those around me.”
