Week of December 16th: Finding Light in Each Other
Day 4 (Thursday, December 19): Strength in Togetherness
Words of Light:
“Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up.” – Ecclesiastes 4:9-10
Reflection:
The winter season can feel isolating, especially for those carrying grief or loss. But Advent reminds us that we are never truly alone. The Christmas story is full of examples of people coming together to support one another—Mary and Joseph traveling together, the shepherds gathering to witness the miracle, and the Wise Men journeying to honor the newborn King.
Togetherness brings strength. When we share our joys, they multiply; when we share our burdens, they become lighter. In community, we find the courage to face challenges that are difficult to overcome alone. There is power in walking through life’s winters hand in hand with others.
Today, reflect on the connections in your life. Lean into the relationships that nurture you, and be present for those needing your support. Together, we carry the light forward.
Peace, Rita
Journal Prompt:
• Who strengthens you, and how can you appreciate their presence?
Affirmation:
“The love and connection I share with others strengthens me, and I give thanks for the light we create together.”
