Week of December 23: The Gift of Hope

Monday, December 23: Hope Breaks Through

Words of Light

“The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of deep darkness a light has dawned.” – Isaiah 9:2

Reflection

As Christmas draws near, we celebrate the hope that breaks through even the darkest seasons. The birth of Christ is the fulfillment of God’s promise—a light shining for all people. This hope reminds us that we are never forgotten, no matter how heavy our burdens may feel. Hope is not just wishful thinking; it’s the assurance that God’s love and grace are always with us. Take a moment to reflect on how the hope of Christ can bring light to your life this week.

Peace, Rita

Affirmation

“I hold onto the hope that light has come into the world, and it is within me.”
