When you’ve run out of ways
to hold it together,
Love steps in—
becoming the bridge
that gets you through.
Words of Light
“For I am convinced that neither death nor life… will be able to separate us from the love of God.”
— Romans 8:38-39 (NIV)
Reflection
There are seasons when strength doesn’t look like endurance.
It looks like reaching the edge of what you can carry—and realizing you’ve come to the end of yourself.
Not because you’ve failed.
But because you were never meant to carry everything alone.
Love meets you there.
Not as a distant idea or something you have to earn, but as a steady presence that does not withdraw when life becomes difficult. It remains. It holds. It carries.
Love will carry you through heartbreak, through transitions, through waiting rooms you never planned to sit in. It meets you in the quiet spaces where hope feels thin and grief lingers longer than you expected.
It does not rush you.
It does not demand that you be stronger than you are.
It simply stays.
This Love doesn’t ask you to leap to some distant “other side” or to have everything figured out before you move forward. Instead, it becomes the bridge beneath your weary feet—steadying you step by step, breath by breath, as you move through what you never imagined you would have to face.
And sometimes, moving forward doesn’t look like progress.
Sometimes it looks like:
- getting out of bed when everything in you wants to stay hidden
- taking one breath when the next moment feels uncertain
- allowing yourself to be held, even when you don’t know how
You don’t have to carry it all today.
You don’t have to solve everything.
You don’t have to know how this ends.
You only have to allow Love to meet you where you are—and trust that it is already holding more than you can see.
Let Love carry you through.
Through the unknown.
Through the heaviness.
Through to your next breath.
Pause and Consider...
- Where in your life are you trying to carry more than you were meant to hold alone?
- What would it feel like to let Love support you, even in small ways today?
- Where can you soften your grip and allow yourself to be carried?
Affirmation
Love carries me through what I cannot carry on my own.
I am supported, held, and guided—one step at a time.
Peace,
Rita
