There is a quiet strength
that does not compete—
it recognizes.
A presence that does not diminish—
it affirms.
A way of being
that understands
there is no shortage of light—
only more to be revealed.
And when one woman rises,
she does not stand alone.
She reaches back.
She reaches forward.
She makes space.
Words of Light
“Therefore encourage one another and build each other up…”
— 1 Thessalonians 5:11 (NIV)
Reflection
There is a kind of strength that is often overlooked—not because it is small, but because it is quiet.
It is the strength of a woman who chooses to support rather than compete. Who celebrates without comparison. Who recognizes the brilliance in another without questioning her own.
This is not weakness.
This is alignment.
In a world that often teaches scarcity—where success can feel limited and recognition uneven—it can be easy to fall into patterns of comparison. To measure your progress against someone else’s path. To wonder if there is enough space for everyone to shine.
But truth does not operate from scarcity.
What is meant for you is not diminished by what belongs to another.
And when you understand this—truly understand it—something shifts.
You no longer feel the need to withhold encouragement.
You no longer hesitate to celebrate someone else’s growth.
You no longer see another woman’s light as a reflection of your lack.
Instead, you recognize it as a reflection of what is possible.
A queen understands that her power is not reduced when she lifts others—it is expanded.
Every kind word spoken.
Every moment of genuine support.
Every time you choose to affirm rather than compare—
you contribute to something larger than yourself.
You create an environment where growth is shared.
Where confidence is reinforced.
Where women are not standing alone, but standing together.
This is how the sisterhood strengthens.
Not through perfection.
Not through constant agreement.
But through presence, encouragement, and a willingness to see one another fully.
So consider the women in your life.
The ones who have stood beside you.
The ones who are finding their way.
The ones who may not yet see their own brilliance.
Your words matter.
Your support matters.
Your willingness to reach out—simply, sincerely—can shift more than you realize.
We do not rise by stepping over one another.
We rise by lifting together.
Pause and Consider...
- Who in my life could be strengthened by a word of encouragement today?
- Where have I been comparing instead of connecting?
- What would it look like to intentionally support another woman this week?
Affirmation
I celebrate and support the women around me.
There is space for all of us to grow and shine.
We rise together in strength, grace, and truth.
Peace,
Rita
