Hope rarely arrives all at once.
Sometimes it begins as a flicker you almost miss.

Words of Light

“Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin.” — Zechariah 4:10

Reflection

When we face seasons of loss, grief, or uncertainty, it can feel as though nothing will ever be enough to make things right again. The pain feels too large, the path too unclear, and the future too distant to trust. In those moments, hope can seem fragile—almost out of reach.

Yet often, healing does not begin with sweeping change. It begins quietly. A kind word. A moment of rest. A memory that brings warmth instead of ache. These small sparks may seem insignificant, but they carry more power than we realize.

Light does not need to be overwhelming to be effective—it only needs to be present. One tiny spark is enough to remind us that darkness is not complete, that the story is still unfolding. As you take one gentle step forward, that spark grows, illuminating the next moment, then the next.

Today is not about having answers or feeling strong. It is about noticing what is already glowing within you. Even the smallest light has the ability to guide you forward, whispering that you are not finished and that hope is still at work.

Journal Prompt

  • How might you nurture that spark, even gently?

Even the smallest spark can guide me forward and fill my heart with hope.

Peace,

Rita
