There comes a moment
when you grow tired
of shrinking yourself.

Tired of adjusting.
Tired of softening your voice
so others feel more comfortable.
Tired of shrinking
to fit spaces
you’ve already outgrown.

And something within you
quietly decides:

No more.

Words of Light

“God has not given us a spirit of fear,
but of power, love, and a sound mind.”
— 2 Timothy 1:7 (NIV)

Reflection

Boldness is often misunderstood.

It is not loudness.
It is not force.
It is not proving anything to anyone.

True boldness is internal.

It is the quiet, steady decision
to stand in who you are
without apology.

There are moments when fear will still whisper.

Moments when doubt will ask you to hesitate.
Moments when old patterns will invite you
to shrink back into what feels familiar.

But boldness does not mean fear disappears.

It means you no longer let fear lead.

You move forward anyway.

You speak—even if your voice shakes.
You show up—even when you feel uncertain.
You take up space—not to dominate,
but because you belong.

Because you were never meant
to live your life
seeking permission
to be yourself.

Boldness is not about becoming someone else.

It is about returning
to who you have always been—
before fear taught you to hide.

And when you begin to stand
in that truth…

You don’t just change your life.

You give others permission
to do the same.

Pause and Consider...

  • Where have I been shrinking myself to stay comfortable?
  • What truth am I ready to stand in—without apology?
  • What would it look like to move forward, even if I feel afraid?

Affirmation

I stand fully in who I am.
I release the need to shrink, hide, or seek approval.
My presence is grounded, powerful, and enough.

You do not have to become louder
to be bold.

You simply have to become
more fully yourself.

Peace,

Rita
