Jesus walking quietly through the temple courtyard at dusk, with Judas watching from a distance in shadow.
He felt the shift—even before the betrayal was spoken.

The Journey Through
Wednesday of Holy Week | April 16
Theme: What He Walked Through… and What We Walk Through Now

“Then Satan entered Judas, called Iscariot, one of the Twelve. And Judas went to the chief priests and the officers of the temple guard and discussed with them how he might betray Jesus.”
—Luke 22:3–4 (NIV)

✨ Reflection and Insight

There are days when everything feels still—but something inside tells you… it isn’t.

Holy Wednesday is often passed over in quiet, but not because nothing happened.
Something did.

A plan was forming.
A friend was plotting.
A betrayal was already in motion.

And Jesus knew.

He taught on Tuesday. He would commune on Thursday. But Wednesday?
Wednesday was the hush between what had been spoken and what would soon shatter.
It was a quiet storm—swirling beneath the surface.

đź’Ą The Everyday Parallel

Have you ever sensed something shifting—but couldn’t name it yet?

When the people around you smiled, but something in your spirit whispered “Be still and watch.”

There is a weight to those moments—when the wind hasn’t picked up, but your soul already knows a storm is near.

Wednesday reminds us:
Stillness isn’t the absence of movement—it’s the tension before it breaks.
It’s the hallway between trust and truth revealed.

And it’s holy, even if it hurts.

đź’ Personal Reflection

I know what it feels like to be surrounded and still feel the slow creep of betrayal.
To feel the vibration of something coming—though no one says a word.

I’ve lived in the quiet before the storm.
I’ve cried in the in-between.
And I’ve learned—sometimes God doesn’t speak louder in those moments. He just gets closer.

Even in silence, I was never alone.
And neither was Jesus.

🙏🏾 Invitation for Reflection

Is there something shifting around you that your spirit can feel—but your eyes can’t yet see?

Can you stay grounded in the stillness—without rushing to fix, flee, or explain?

Let this Wednesday be a moment to breathe… to trust… to wait.

Not all storms announce themselves.
But even in the quiet, you are being held.

And even in the silence, God is preparing resurrection.
