June 6, 2025 — Steady Through the Storm

Weekly Theme: Steady Through the Storm

I may bend, but I will not break.

Words of Light

“The righteous will never be shaken; they will be remembered forever.”
— Psalm 112:6 (NIV)

Reflection

Storms test us. They reveal what is rooted and what is not. They show us where we’ve placed our trust and where we may need to anchor more deeply. But they also teach us something about resilience — not as a performance, but as a spiritual truth.

To be steady through the storm does not mean being unmoved by life’s realities. It means having an inner foundation that holds even when the winds of circumstance howl around us. It is not about pretending the storm does not exist — it is about knowing that God holds you even in it.

Some days you will stand tall. Other days you will bend low. Both are valid expressions of faith. What matters is not whether you feel strong every moment — it is that you remain connected to the One who steadies you.

You are here today — still standing. That is no small thing. It is the testimony of grace at work in your life. Let that awareness root you even deeper as this week closes: You are steady because you are held. You will not break because the everlasting arms uphold you.

The journey continues. Hope remains. And so do we.

Pause and consider:

  • What inner strength have you rediscovered in this storm?
  • How will you carry hope and steadiness into the days ahead?

Affirmation

I am steady. I am strong. I continue forward in hope.

Peace,

Rita

Tree with deep roots bending but unbroken in strong winds.
Steady through the storm.
