Weekly Theme: Becoming Again – Renewal Through Resilience

He saw more in you than you saw in yourself.
And whether he said it or not,
there was a blessing tucked in his gaze.
A presence that covered you — even if broken.
A memory.
A void.
A voice.
The Father’s blessing isn’t always found in a perfect man —
but in the echo of heaven that calls you beloved
again and again.

Words of Light

“This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”
— Matthew 3:17 (KJV)

Reflection

There is something sacred about a father’s blessing.
Not just the words — but the energy, the presence, the covering.
The feeling of being seen and named by someone who had a part in your becoming.

And yet, many live without it.
The absence of it can shape us.
The yearning for it can stir deep within us —
especially this time of year, when Father’s Day draws near.

But here’s the truth:
The Father’s blessing doesn’t begin and end with an earthly man.

It is spiritual.
It is divine.
It is still accessible.

Your heavenly Father blessed you from the very beginning —
called you chosen, anointed, loved, and capable of starting again.

And maybe, just maybe…
there’s been someone who stepped in and spoke life,
even when your biological father could not.

A mentor.
A spiritual father.
A quiet moment when you felt God whisper over your shoulder,
“I am still proud of you.”

Today is for healing and honoring.
For reclaiming what was withheld.
For letting go of what could not be.
And for becoming again under the blessing of the One who never left.

Pause and Consider:

  • Do I still carry unspoken grief, resentment, or longing regarding my relationship with my father?
  • Who has spoken a father’s blessing into my life in other ways?
  • Can I receive the blessing of God — and believe that I am beloved, even without human validation?

Affirmation

I receive the blessing of being seen, known, and loved. I am not fatherless — I am divinely held.

Peace,
Rita
