Thursday, April 24, 2025 — The Grace to Begin Again
Week’s Theme (April 21-25): Becoming Again
A leery step to be the Boss
Let it be for you
Your tank of Chances
full but floating
Let it be for you
—Excerpt from Let It Be…For You by Rita Lynn Berry
Words of Light
“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”
—2 Corinthians 12:9 (NIV)
Reflection
We often think we have to have it all together to start again.
That we need the money, the energy, the full confidence, or the perfect plan.
But grace doesn’t wait for that.
Grace moves when you do.
Even if you’re trembling. Even if you’re uncertain.
Sometimes, the most courageous thing you can do is take a single leery step—
toward healing, toward leadership, toward being the version of you who no longer apologizes for rising.
You don’t need to be full of certainty.
You just need a yes.
Yes to showing up.
Yes to trusting the next breath.
Yes to beginning again with what you have and who you are today.
There is grace in the middle—
not just the beginning or the end.
And that grace will catch you.
So if your chances feel like they’re floating…
If your faith feels like it’s fluttering…
Say yes anyway.
Let it be for you.
- Where in your life are you waiting to “have it all together” before you move?
- What would it look like to say yes from the messy middle?
- How has grace already shown up for you when you weren’t finished?
Affirmation
I say yes to becoming—even in the middle.
Grace finds me here, and that is enough.
With Grace,
Rita
