Mother gently holding her baby close, symbolizing the nurturing, comforting power of love.
The truest strength is found in love that holds steady.

Monday, May 5, 2025 — The Nature of Nurture

Weekly Theme: The Heart That Nurtures

Love’s true strength is not in how loud it speaks,
but in how quietly it holds.

Words of Light

“As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you.”
— Isaiah 66:13 (NIV)

Reflection

Real nurturing doesn’t always make headlines.
It’s the quiet comfort offered in the dark.
The steady hand holding yours when no one else sees.

Nurture is not weakness.
It is the fierce, faithful choice to stay connected to love — even when it costs you.
It is the daily act of tending to the life entrusted to you — including your own.

You are nurtured by a Love that does not abandon.
And you are invited to nurture others (and yourself) with that same steadfast grace.

  • Where have you experienced quiet nurture in your own life?
  • How can you offer that same kind of gentle love to yourself today?

Affirmation

I honor the quiet power of love that nurtures and sustains me.

Peace,
Rita
