The first sprout shivers against the wind,
and still it rises.

New life is tender — and still it grows.

Words of Light

“He tends his flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart.”
— Isaiah 40:11 (NIV)

Reflection

After seasons of growth, you might expect to feel triumphant.
But sometimes, you feel exposed.
Tender. Fragile.

That is not weakness. That is new life in its earliest, holiest form.
Even the strongest trees once trembled as sprouts.

You do not have to force yourself to be fully formed overnight.
God tends gently to what is new in you.

Pause and Consider...

  • Where are you feeling most tender right now?
  • How can you allow yourself to be gently carried instead of striving?

Affirmation

Even when I feel fragile, I am growing in grace.

Peace,

Rita

Small green sprout emerging from cracked earth, representing fragile new beginnings.
New life is tender — and still it rises.
